Dr Limin Zhang  (CM)

Dr Limin Zhang is a fully qualified, professional Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and Acupuncturist. Dr Zhang undertook eight years of training in Chinese Medicine at the Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and continued for another two years completing a Masters Degree in Acupuncture. After graduation, he  worked at the Heilongjiang Research Institute Combining Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine. During his career in China he has gained quality knowledge in both Chinese and Western Medicine and has conducted various research trials in both aspects.
 

As a result, Dr Zhang has been widely exposed to all areas of medicine including general medicine, nephrology, neurology, rheumatology, cardiology, respiratory, paediatric, gynecology, gastroenterology and dermatology in both Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine. Dr Zhang has visited many countries to explore different medicines to integrate with Chinese Medicine, these include the United States, Kenya, Canada, Europe and New Zealand. Thus, Dr Zhang has extensive experience in the practice of Acupuncture and the prescription of Chinese Medicine with the knowledge of Western Medicine.

 

Due to his global and unique medical backboard, Dr Zhang’s approach focuses on the integration of Western Medicine and Chinese medicine to ensure patients get the greatest benefits from the best of both medical systems.

 

 Before moving to Melbourne, he ran a busy medical clinic in Auckland, New Zealand for over 12 years. Using the knowledge he has gained over the past 30 years of practising Chinese Medicine, Dr Zhang understands the associate of climate environment and health of the southern hemisphere, aiming to help you and your family stay in balance and in harmony.
