Dr Joey Lim (CM)

Joey is a registered acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner who holds a double degree in Health Science and Applied Science (Chinese Medicine) from RMIT University. She has her placement at Tong Shin Hospital (Malaysia). As part of the training, she gained some experiences in seeing many patients with musculoskeletal pain issues, digestive issues, menstruation problems, male and female infertility, skin problems, as well as stress and anxiety.

Joey is a passionate, caring, and friendly person who enjoys the patient journey and working together with her client to achieve optimum benefit. She loves the characteristics of the holistic approach in Chinese Medicine and always aims to find the root cause of the disease. She is passionate in communicating with patients to help them achieve their health goal, both physically and mentally. She also believes that Chinese medicine has the healing power to awaken the body using the combination of acupuncture and herbal medicine to achieve a better outcome.

Her major interests are internal medicines, musculoskeletal issues, gynaecology and fertility issues, cosmetic facial acupuncture and mental illness. She may use different modalities such as acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, tui na and herbal medicine to tailor a treatment for her clients.

When outside of the clinic, Joey enjoys hanging out with friends, watching movies and travelling.
